When the media talks health care, tax reform or international trade the experts dominate the conversation. But when we talk guns, everyone in the media wants to know what @kimkardashian or some no name journalist who shot an M&P 15-22 rifle for the first time and thought it was terrifying what they think about gun control. It’s insulting. The people who actually live #ThePewPewLife study this stuff year round, we shoot year round, we debate year round, most of you pushing Gun Control now, only show up when there’s a tragedy. I’m not saying you can’t have an opinion just understand your opinion doesn’t have any value because you didn’t place any value in actually learning about the topic beyond your feelings and over inflated sense of intelligence. #ThePewPewLife = #ThePPL

@chelseahandler People are really scared and nervous out here. I’m sure you feel some type of way just like everyone else. Then again, this isn’t the first time you’ve shot off at the mouth callously in these situations. We should be talking about these types of issues seriously with the intent to empower people to defend against these types of things instead of trying to score ideological talking points or cheap jokes. The information on the shooting in Sutherland Springs is incredibly scant so I won’t be speaking on it until there is a more complete picture of what the hell just happened. My prayers and condolences goes out to the people of Sutherland Springs.
