My Comments:
Do you really need a more definitive example of how disingenuous these anti-gun groups are? All those guns in that hostile environment and not one shot fired, but when someone does dies, not from a gun but from a car, they still blame the guns and the gun laws.
………………………………
Groups & people like @everytown and @momsdemand are propaganda attack groups designed to exploit the emotions of people who don’t know much about the 2nd Amendment & guns to get them to vote for anti-gun legislation based on false information, deceptive stats and false attribution and an egregious over simplification of the issue. Their agenda is not altruistic, its political.
There weren’t even reports of gun fire through out that entire debacle. Yet, @everytown is still using it to push gun control. The same car that is responsible for more deaths in this country than guns, but I’m being ridiculous when I compare cars and guns.

From The Article:
And on August 13 — the day after the car attack — Everytown tweeted a quote from a University of Virginia professor, who commented on the violence at the rally, saying, “When so many demonstrators come out armed, it only takes one to ignite a fire.”

Again, one person was killed and 19 injured in a car attack in Charlottesville. Guns were not used. But Everytown is using the violence to push gun control.
